Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d be sitting front row center at a Moody Blues concert. That hasn’t happened. But, we were 2nd row center on one of the Moody Blues’ passes through Las Vegas.

If this is a group on your own See ‘em Before They’re Dead list™ then run, don’t walk when the next opportunity arises for you to see the band.

What amazed me is that they still sound so fantastic. So many times, bands and singers start to loose it or start to ride their laurels. And, after more than 40 years on the road, the Moody Blues sure could do that if they wanted. Nope, their out there, turning in a studio quality performance every time.

Of course, at this point, if you’re not a groupie already, plan to get seats toward the back of the hall. You’ll probably feel out of place or left out if you don’t know the audience routines.

The Moody Blues are still doing a full, annual touring schedule and there’s an active fan community.
