The word Diva isn’t good enough for Cher. Here’s a performer who throughout five decades has not only managed to reinvent and relaunch herself into popular culture, but has done so with incredible style and one of the most recognizable voices of our time.

Yep, I saw her on her farewell tour when it passed through Vegas. And, then saw her say farewell when it passed through town again. I’m thrilled that she was only fibbing when she used the word “retire.” I can’t wait for her arrival in the Caesars Forum. There’s no comparison between her and that Canadian who held that stage for the past several years.

My only current complaint is that the same six phrases of music repeat in an endless loop both on her Website and at times in my head.
